Podcast: Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
You Are More Than ONE Thing: Define What 'Doing Both' Means to You & Ditch Imposter Syndrome
In this episode of the Why Not #DoBoth Podcast, I got into something I see constantly in my work with millennial and Gen Z leadership coaching clients: the exhausting pressure to pick one version of yourself and stick to it.
Overcoming imposter syndrome isn't just about confidence. It's often about letting go of the belief that success has to look like one thing, one role, one identity. The professionals I coach aren't struggling because they lack drive or skill. They're struggling because they've been handed a framework for success that was never designed for someone who contains multitudes, and they keep trying to squeeze themselves into it anyway.
We talked about what it actually looks like to lead with authenticity when you're also managing the noise of other people's expectations, how personal branding and leadership confidence intersect, and why accountability looks different when you're building a career that has to feel aligned to you and not just impressive on paper.
If you've ever felt like you were too much for one lane and not enough for another, this episode is going to feel uncomfortably familiar in the best way.
